Interview -You be the Historian and The Preliminary Geography Bee
The Interview extra credit is a writing competition sponsored by Junior Scholastic that encourages students to interview someone that has lived through a historical event (immigration, Great Depression, war, or natural disaster but not limited to these) and submit the interview to Junior Scholastic in final form for a chance to win $250.
The Preliminary Rounds of the Geography Bee will be hosted by Social Studies teachers for each grade. 6th grade preliminary rounds will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27 after school in room 607. To earn EC students must sign up in advance and participate the entire seven rounds.
